After a successful, yet sunburned-filled earth day fair last Friday, the Recreation team has spent the last few days analyzing the 87 survey responses we received in exchange for free water bottles! Some preliminary results for your reading pleasure: 70% of our respondents were female, and more than half of our respondents think about indoor air quality when working out, which we found quite surprising. Rounding out the week was our introductory meeting with the Student Leadership Employee Advisory Council (SLEAC), where we presented our preliminary indoor air quality data on the John Wooden Center, and tried to get a feel for whether the JWC follows a strict lighting protocol. Lastly, we are anxiously awaiting a response from Coca-Cola, as they have graciously offered to give our team a tour of their plant, and relevant sustainability practices!
