The biodiversity team is now sailing in smooth waters as we wrap up eighth week and move into ninth. With the conclusion of our baseline data gathering and experimental set-up, we are now free to explore new ideas going forward with our project. We are currently brainstorming and setting up individual and team projects. Our ideas right now include collaboration with the Krieger Child Care Center to possibly set up lessons about biodiversity and native plants, create temporary signs for Sage Hill, prepare a student survey for Earth Day, and create a general census of flora and fauna on Sage Hill. While these goals may change in the coming weeks, we are very excited and enthusiastic about the next phase in our research project.
