Greetings from Resilience Team! This week we met with several key stakeholders on campus regarding the storm water retention program. Campus Architect Jeff Averill, Campus Engineer Carl Newth, as well as Vice Chancellor for Environment and Sustainability Mark Gold were all excited about storm water catchment on a personal level and offered to help push forward the project. On the other hand, Nurit will bring a group of people together next Monday as the initial UCLA Resilience Task Force. Our team will be presenting our findings and communicate with different stakeholders of campus resilience planning. Also, we are in the early stage of another very exciting project that could potentially make a huge impact on the campus. So stay tuned for more updates once we made progress with this secret project.
