BREAKING NEWS: We just found out that Yates Gym is being renovated concurrently with the replacement of three air handler units (AHUs) on the John Wooden Center roof – starting in April! This means that the ART Recreation Team is putting indoor air quality testing at Wooden on the front burner so that we can hopefully get preliminary results before the AHU replacement and Yates renovations begin. Just this past week we have been in contact with Professor Yifang Zhu in the UCLA School of Public Health about (quickly!) starting indoor air quality testing. We have also been in contact with employees at the UCLA Office of Environment, Health and Safety about potentially using past indoor air quality research data. Stay tuned for more updates!
