As the quarter trickles down to the end, the Water ART Team has successfully wrapped up our projects. Prior to our last team meeting of the year, we planned for each member to come prepared and finalized with his or her respective portions of the reports. This enabled us to review and revise both our final report and our stormwater policy draft during the final meeting. We cruised through reading our reports together by “popcorn reading”, and enjoyed our last meeting out in the summer sun.
Since the start of Winter Quarter, our team was driven to provide definitive action for each of our projects. Although this year’s ART program has now come to an end, we hope to provide an artificial turf presentation during Fall Quarter next year with the continued help of our stakeholder, Tracy Dudman. Inspired by the positive feedback and support our drought-tolerant project and presentation received, we now look to provide a presentation to complement our artificial turf project.
On behalf of the entire Water ART Team, I would like to thank everyone who has helped us throughout the two quarter and made so many opportunities possible. From the directors, stakeholders, public citizens, to our peers — we have truly enjoyed working with all of you. We would also give a special thanks to our wonderful stakeholder, Tracy Dudman, for her grand visions, her consistent focus and warmth in working with us, and her everlasting support through each and every project. We feel confident and happy with the work we have been able to produce throughout the two quarters. We have all gained extensive knowledge and a stronger love for water.
We are very proud of all the work every Action Research Team has accomplished in the last twenty weeks. We feel honored to have been a part of it. This is a bittersweet end to an incredible twenty weeks, but we look forward to the continued success and the bright future of the next Water Action Research Team! Peace. Love. Water!
